A round is one instruction to the feed and the crowd's answer to it. Attempts that failed stay attached to the round they belong to. Nothing is removed to make a pass look inevitable.

The feed carried the first rule. Players answered. It took four attempts before the round passed. The system logged every signal, including the noise.
The Atlas names the forces around each mission. The Game issues the rule. The Chronicle records the result. They are separate records of the same event: system, player action, consequence.
