Between the end of the first log and the Flash Warning, eight months passed. The account kept filing.
THE RECORD
Three days after Level 90, a post went out captioned: "We're playing the real game now." A run of posts followed written in the language of ranked matchmaking: blaming matchmaking, ELO, patch notes. On the twenty-eighth of February a public challenge opened under the heading 10K vs 10K, its caption a running scoreboard of dollars earned against players gathered. Day zero recorded 117 players and zero dollars. The last scoreboard on file, day thirty-seven, filed the twentieth of April, recorded 3,065 players. The dollar figure read zero on every filing. The scoreboard stopped being filed. Through the winter the captions covered study systems, gym clips, and the product. On the second of October the account asked the territory: "Are you natty?" Twenty days later the Flash Warning went out.
