On the first full day after the meter opened, the record took one hundred and twenty-two proofs. No day for weeks after held as many. The world was loudest at its start, before anyone had been shown it would work.
THE RECORD
The day belongs to the same eight-day interval that carried the meter from zero to five hundred. See THE CROSSING, ⟡001. Its volume was not sustained. The quieter weeks remain part of the same founding event.
The proof count records finished actions accepted into the system. It does not record everyone who saw an instruction, intended to act, or returned without evidence. See THE ACTION, §004, and THE FOUND, §003.
CARRIED FORWARD
The archive has the day's total. It does not have one explanation for why the first day was louder than the days after it.
