One rule and nothing else: one OPEN equals one TAKEN. Find a partner, each do one small thing, exchange proof with no face and no location in it, then both enter LINK ACTIVE and name the other. No partner, no game, and the window was twenty-four hours.

The pass bar was posted before the round ran, where it could not move: one hundred active links.

The pairing thread behaved like a market. 3,694 entries: 2,543 offering a slot, 956 claiming one, 615 naming another player outright. Offers outran claims five to two.

The round was declared passed two days later with more than one hundred links standing. The archive holds 37 confirmations on the post itself. Ingestion is selective by design, and the record prints the smaller number beside the declaration rather than choosing the flattering one.

For the first time, the smallest countable thing was two people. Everywhere else in the act a hand could act alone, in public, and be counted. Here a hand could do everything right and still fail, through a stranger’s silence.

The market said the rest. Announcing you are open costs nothing and reads as participation. Claiming a stranger commits you to them. Five offered for every two who took.

Passed on the first attempt, four weeks after the same crowd broke Split or Steal three times running. The difference was never the crowd. Both hands had to act, and neither could take anything from the other.

Confirmed at full scale: coordination structures pass and trust structures break, and the border between them is whether a defector can spend your stake. The design law of this level, cut at Split or Steal, held.

The five-to-two gap between offering and claiming is entered as its own finding, unassigned. No round has been built on it yet.

The closing post asked the one thing the count cannot answer: what did your link prove? The record shows that the links formed. What happened inside them was never entered, and cannot be. That half of the round belongs to the pairs.
