A view proves that a transmission reached a screen. It does not prove agreement, intention, or participation. The distinction is the first boundary of the Game: watching creates traffic, while action creates a Player record.

Round 01 made the difference visible. The room produced enormous activity, but the issued rule remained unmet until the signal became precise enough to count. The platform and the Game were measuring the same crowd for different reasons.

A mission is not a motivational message. It is a temporary condition placed around real people. The condition limits what can count, gives the room a shared object, and allows a consequence to be filed.

Split or Steal kept ending in the hands of one defector. The decisive change was not a speech about trust. The System removed the power of one choice to erase the rest. The same room then produced a different outcome.

Do Not Comment created a perfect obedience problem. A Player who followed the rule returned exactly the same visible result as a person who never saw it. Silence contained no way to tell participation from disappearance.

The Game responded by making proof part of the action. That principle reaches beyond a round. The Hall files witnessed acts rather than biographies, and the Chronicle keeps failed attempts beside successful ones.

Round 06 opened no coordination channel and declared no correct answer. The room still converged on seven. The result was collective, but it was not negotiated. A shared cultural prior moved first.

That distinction matters. Consensus requires people to form an agreement. Coordination only requires their actions to align. The Game records both, because the visible shape can be identical while the human process is not.

The Game does not hide the versions that did not work. A failed round can expose an ambiguous signal, an overpowered choice, an impossible proof condition, or a demand that the room will not carry.

This is why the archive keeps attempts. The result says whether the condition was met. The sequence says what changed before the round passed. Without the failures, the successful rule would appear inevitable.

A game inside a feed begins with an asymmetry. One side can transmit a rule to everyone. The deeper question is whether the return signal can do more than satisfy that rule.

Round 08 crossed that boundary. Players did not merely complete the instruction. They rewrote its sentence, defended the altered version, and made the returned line hold. The output of the crowd became part of the next state of the system.
